Twelve Years of Painting
Starting my first paintings in 2008 during my studies in Louvain-la-Neuve, I (Edwin Petit, born in 1989 in Brussels) am influenced by modern and contemporary art.
Quickly, I began to spend more time with my canvas than with my learning books.
Totally fascinated by the stars and the Milky Way, I mainly worked at the beginning in the field of abstract expressionism.
Moved by the art of dripping, I pushed further the experiment and therefore also offer abstract paintings in the vein of Janet Sobel and Jackson Pollock.
I recently launched the production of more modern and contemporary canvas, playing especially on lines and colors.
